Phillip Nelson is a classically trained jazz and cabaret singer whose love of the Great American Songbook shines through his stage personality and smooth baritone voice.

Raised in Portland, Oregon, Phillip gained an early appreciation for the Pacific Northwest Jazz tradition, and has been stylistically influenced by a wide range of vocal artists. He reflects this variety in performing a range from blues to Bossa Nova to big band and swing.

Phillip has been a part of the Washington, DC music scene for the past ten years, and is a member of the Washington Area Music Association, and the DC Cabaret Network.
